Kenji is quite the bleeding heart although he won’t admit it. He holds its all in to be strong for everyone but he needs an outlet. Naveera is the one he never saw coming. She is socially awkward and he clams up around her but they wouldn’t be a power couple if they could get past the madness. I enjoyed reading from his perspective and want him to find the others and find love. He seems a little needy at times but I believe it’s just because he cares so much about everyone and he doens’t want to admit it. The characters in this series have such complex, in-depth, multiple layers to them and they are fascinating to follow and read their growth.
