I really enjoyed this book. The storyline was well written and original. At first, I thought I was missing a book since this starts with Elodie mourning her match, already connected to her other matches. Elodie is pulled very quickly into an alternate reality where her father is alive and she is living the life of royalty. The exact opposite of how she was living. The characters are unique and have a lot of depth to them. Nothing is as it seems. I loved the plot twists and you really feel bad for Elodie throughout the story. Being thrown into an alternate reality, having to see her mates yet they aren’t hers, and trying to solve the murder of the other Elodie is a lot. Her connections to “other Elodie’s” matches is so strong and she really has to work hard to not change the course of the future. She is pulled to them as she was pulled to her original matches. You can really feel her anguish and struggle when she has any conversation or run in with Cole, Asher, Byron, and Salvatore in this alternate reality. Lots of plot twists at the end and of course it ends with a cliffhanger so now we wait for the next one!
