I Like You, I Love Her

by J.R. Rogue

A tragic love story with a happy ending. Severina had a rough childhood. The boy she was crushing on forever kept her as the other woman their entire lives. I liked the back and forth from the present to the past. Learning what happened between Sevina and Bryan as kids which molded her into who the woman she became as an adult. The time she spent between the two brothers, the silent broody one who she crushed on forever and the funny honest one who was pining after her. I never liked Bryan, he did what he was told, acted how his friends wanted and never owned his mistakes. He hid behind what was expected of him. Ben was there for her as kids and as an adult. He was real. He didn’t toy with her and I was rooting for him the whole time. He was brutally honest which I loved. It took her a bit but in the end she was honest with herself and finally saw what was right in front of her. This was a good story I enjoyed it.
