Lots of spicy mob stuff in this one! Junior aka Nic aka Aly’s cousin has been pining after his high school sweetheart for years. Unfortunately their fathers are in the mob and it’s too dangerous for them to be together. Junior has watched over Lauren from afar but now is finally going after what he wants. He’s a knight in dark armor and you can’t help but root for him the whole time. Lauren is a sex worker online. She has a huge following and unknowing to her, Junior is her number 1 sub. They have been chatting for years and she didn’t realize it. I could feel his need to protect her and be near her throughout the book. She grounded him. He wants a normal life so bad and he loves her for who she is and encourages her with her sex club and job. He is the perfect man with his dark past and rough edges. Not so much a thriller like the first but definitely a few twists and turns to keep you on your toes! I really enjoyed their story and was so happy they were able to find their way together. Now I have to wait for book 3!
