If only I had told her

I loved reading this story from Finn’s POV. As many twists and turns in Autmn’s perspective, this one really is an eye opener. Finn waits perfectly for Autumn to look at him the way he looks at her. He has loved her forever and has accepted she does not feel the same. When he kissed her that fateful day when they were younger, she ran away, and he knew she did not feel the same. This is why he dates someone else and why there is so much distance between them. Autumn dates someone else,Jamie for a long time but never works up the courage to sleep with him. Subconsciously, I think she is waiting for Finn. To see everything through Finn’s eyes really helps understand the depth of the characters connection. He has loved her forever and has accepted that his love is one sided. Such a tragic ending for him to finally have the woman he loves and then his life is over. Beautifully written and engaging from the start.

I wont’ lie, I was very upset that Finn and Autumn didn’t get the happy ending they deserved. I guess that is what makes this book more realistic in the sense that not everyone gets their happy endings. Tragedy can hit at any time. I definitely loved this book better than the first. I would recommend this short series to anyone.
